With your design documents complete, we will provide a rough estimate based on your design. Hopefully, it will not surprise you, but if it does, we’ll explain why the costs are as they are and suggest alternatives to bring costs down if you desire.
When you’re satisfied with the rough estimate, we will provide a detailed estimate of the work to be performed. This will be in spreadsheet form and show the cost of all the materials and labor right down to every light switch and square foot of tile. If the spreadsheet meets your approval, the construction team will inspect your home and update your estimate as needed. With your approval, we’ll send over a contract.
Once we receive your signed contract and deposit, we’ll have all materials delivered to our warehouse, build any custom cabinetry in our cabinetry shop and give you a start date on the calendar. We’ll handle paperwork with the condo association and anything else required. As we get closer to the start date, we’ll update you as dates can shift for various reasons, and confirm your official start date.
When the day comes, we’ll show up as promised, protect your home with barriers and remove everything that needs to go. Once the demolition is complete, your materials will be delivered, and we’ll begin building. Construction will be continuous until finished with few, if any, gaps. If ever we are not working, we’ll let you know so you’re never wondering what is going on. We will treat your home like it’s our own, and at the end of each day, we will clean and organize the job site.
When your project is complete, we’ll review it together and create a final punch list. You’ll receive your final invoice, which will include a detailed report itemizing every single charge and credit that comprises your project. Arrangements will be made to complete your punch list, after which, our work will be covered by a one-year warranty period. Issues that arise during this period will be handled on a scheduled basis, which is approximately one, three, six and nine months. Should there be emergencies, we’ll be out immediately to handle them.
